KZG Breeding Evaluation
At the 20th United States Eurasier Club Annual Meeting in September 2025 at Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, attending dogs were invited to be evaluated by visiting representatives from the KZG, one of the Eurasier parent clubs under VDH in Germany, our country of origin. Breed specialists Gabriela Richard-Steinbach and Yvonne Schreiber conducted these Breeding Examinations for all dogs present who are intended for future breeding. Each assessment covered structure, angulation, substance, pigmentation, coat quality, and temperament- an invaluable opportunity for breeders in the United States.
At this same event, the annual USEC Fun Match - a club specific match held annually. Gabriela, who is an FCI Judge for Group 4 (Dachshunds) and Group 5 (Spitz and primitive types) was our judge, with Yvonne acting as her ring steward.
We were absolutely thrilled as she was joined in the ring by a lovely group of dogs including her siblings, mother, and half niece. We had great time and are happy to share her critique:
"20 month old female, black and tan, exc. general appearance, feminine head, correct ears, eyes and pigmentation, Some feathers on the head, exc. construction, angulations and bone, correct top and lower line. Exc. coat and tail. Correct movement in front and rear. Very nice temperament and presentation. Excellent"
